Walking and dog safety in Whittleford Park.
Stealing a dog from its owner is a crime under UK law. Dog theft carries a potential sentence of up to seven years in prison under the Theft Act 1968. Recently, there has been a petition to the government in order to increase the potential sentence to eight years, with a minimum fine of £5,000.

Friends of Whittleford Park Bee orchids are threatened information
Bee orchids are threatened by mowing during flowering, or before the seed has been released. However, they often also disappear from sites that become overgrown with shrubs and/or trees, as the orchids fail to compete with these large plants for light.
